Opia explores the intensity and vulnerability that comes with eye contact, capturing the complex emotions of truly being seen. The overlapping faces and fragmented features represent the multiplicity of perspectives, emotions and identities that emerge in moments of deep connection. The bold and chaotic composition is enhanced by spray paint, paint marker lines, and textured crayon details with hints of charcoal chalk—creating a sense of movement and layered depth.
